FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A new website usually takes 4-8 weeks, while marketing and CRM setup can go live in as little as 1-2 weeks. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after our discovery call and audit – no surprises.
What access do you need to our systems?
It depends on the project – typically your website hosting/CMS, ad accounts, and (if relevant) your CRM or accounting platform. We’ll only ever ask for what’s needed to do the work, and talk you through it before requesting anything..
Who owns the website, campaigns, and systems you build?
You do. Everything we build – your website, ad accounts, CRM setup, and content – belongs to your business, not to ChillyChoo.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Our care plans keep your website, CRM, and integrations secure, fast, and up to date. If something breaks, we’re the first call – not a mystery to solve on your own.
How do you handle data security?
We follow best practice around access control, secure hosting, and data handling, and we’re upfront about what data flows where and why – no black boxes.
Can you work with our existing tools and vendors?
In most cases, yes. We integrate with platforms like WooCommerce, Sage, Pipedrive, and Google Ads rather than forcing you onto a new stack, and we’ll flag early if something genuinely won’t work well together.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes – through our care plans, which cover updates, monitoring, and optimization so your website and systems keep performing after launch, not just on day one.
How do you ensure practical results - not just deliverables?
Every engagement starts with a real audit against industry benchmarks, and every plan is measured by outcomes – sales, leads, or growth – not just whether something was built. We track results the same way we report them: honestly.
What makes ChillyChoo different from other agencies?
We don’t hand you a generic playbook. Every project starts from your business, your industry, and how your customers actually buy – and we stay hands-on through delivery and beyond, rather than disappearing after handover.
What's ChillyChoo's story?
ChillyChoo started with a simple observation: most SMEs don’t need more tools – they need their website, marketing, and systems working together instead of as disconnected pieces. That’s still the problem we solve today.
What is your mission?
To help South African SMEs compete and grow online by connecting the full customer journey – website, marketing, and systems – into one working system, instead of a pile of disconnected tools.
What if we're not sure what's holding us back?
That’s exactly what the discovery call and audit are for. We assess your website, marketing, and systems, benchmark them against real industry standards, and help you prioritize what will move the needle first.
